A current of 3 mA is flowing through a wire for 1 minute. What is the charge flowing through the wire? Ans. (180 𝐱10⁻³ C)
Data Given:
Current = I = 3 mA = 3 x10⁻³ A (∴ m = 10⁻³)
Time = t = 1 min = 60 sec
Current = I = 3 mA = 3 x10⁻³ A (∴ m = 10⁻³)
Time = t = 1 min = 60 sec
To Find:
Charge = Q = ?
Solution:
We have the formula
I = `\frac{Q}{t}`
or
Q = I x t
by putting the values
Q = 3 x10⁻³ A x 60 sec
Q = 180 x10⁻³ C --------------Ans.
