How much time is required to change 22 Ns momentum by a force of 20 N ? Ans. (1.1s)
Given:
Change in Momentum = `\P_1 - P_2` = 22 Ns
Force = F = 20 N
To Find:
Time required = t = ?
Solution:
As we know that the rate of change in momentum is also called the force So, the formula is
F = `\frac {P_1 - P_2}{t}`
or
t = `\frac {P_1 - P_2}{F}`
putting values
t = `\frac{22 Ns}{20 N}`
t = 1.1 s
