Present tense -- فعل حال
i) Present Indefinite tense / Simple Present tense.
ii) Present continuous tense.
iii) Present perfect tense.
iv) Present Perfect Continuous tense.
i) Present Indefinite tense / Simple Present tense:
Present habit, any work done on a regular or daily basis.
⇒[when I, we, you, they, plural name are used in sentence of present indefinite tense we do not add s or es to verb]
⇒[we use do for I, we, you, they, plural name in a question or negative Sentence]
Examples:
I sleep every day.
I do not sleep every day.
Do I sleep every day?
They like football.
They do not like football.
Do they like football?
We sleep at night.
We do not sleep at night.
Do we sleep at night?
⇒[when He, she, it, singular name are used in sentence of present indefinite tense we add s or es to verb]
⇒[For He, she, it, singular name, we use does and s or es are removed from verb in a question or negative sentence ]
Examples:
He likes (like + s) apples.
He does not like apples.
Does he like apples?
Sara goes (go + es) to school.
Sara does not go to school.
Does Sara go to school?
The sun rises.
The does not rise.
Does the sun rise?
ii) Present continuous tense.
I am playing.
I am not playing.
Am I playing?
He is singing.
They are reading.
It is raining.
The sun is rising.
The sun is setting.
