Mass of Proton is 1.67 x 10⁻²⁷ kg. How many protons would make one gram. (5.99 x 10²³ Protons)

Given:

Mass of Proton = m = 1.67 x 10⁻²⁷ kg = 1.67 x 10⁻²⁷ x 10³ g = 1.67 x 10⁻²⁴ g

To Find:

Numbers of Protons in one gram  = ?

Solution:

Using unitary method:

1.67 x 10²⁴ g  = 1 Protons

1 g = `\frac {1}{1.67 x 10²⁴ g} Protons

1 g = 5.988 x 10²³ Protons  ------------------Ans.

Hence,
5.988 x 10²³ NProtons would make one gram.
